Help Me Choose a Soothing Sound

A Happy Daytime = Better Sleep for Everyone

I know this is really simple, but it is also a very important concept that is often overlooked by parents. The idea is easy: the happier your baby is during the day, the better they will sleep at night and during naps.

This means that the more attentive you can be to your baby’s needs during the daytime, the better they will sleep at bedtime. If your baby is fussy during the day, it is likely that that fussiness will carry over into their bedtime as well.

A little investment in your baby’s mood during the day will go a long way to help them sleep better, whether it be during daytime naps, or at night. You can help your baby sleep better by paying attention to their needs, and helping make sure they are as content and happy as possible during the day.

I know this is a "no-brainer" so you’re probably already doing this, but you would be surprised at how often parents allow their babies to fuss and fuss during the day, only to wonder why it is that they don’t make the smooth transition to sleep later.

Sometimes the best baby sleep strategies are also the easiest ones.
