Help Me Choose a Soothing Sound

Previous Sleep Tip Next Sleep TipBaby Sleep Tip #7

Remember To Take Care of Yourself

This tip is going to be short and sweet, because I’m going to spend today with my wife and daughter, and we’re going to enjoy our first Mother’s Day as a family.

Your baby will always sleep better, and be happier in general if you do a good job of taking care of yourself.  So, take time as you can to pamper yourself - even if it means taking a short 10 minutes to do something you like to do - something is always better than nothing.

Many Mom’s have written me to say that the baby white noise and other soothing sounds that are sold at PEDIASLEEP have been a life-saver to them because they have given them the extra time to do just that - take care of themselves - while their baby is napping.  One person wrote me recently to say:

“Thanks to your running water, Princess Stella is sleeping and allowing her mother to take a shower, eat breakfast, AND pack a diaper bag without a peep… Thanks again for offering these soothing sounds CDs!  You’ve made another young mother (and baby) quite happy!”

Now that’s pretty cool, if you ask me.  So whatever it is that makes you feel better - even if it’s just a shower and breakfast - it’s important to take care of yourself.  You will be a happier and better parent as a result of it, and your baby will be happier and more content as well.

So, enjoy Mother’s Day.  I’m sure you’ve earned it!  :-)
